This place was phenomenal! The vibe was great, and the service was top-notch. I ordered a double patty burger with sauteed jalapenos, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. I got what I wanted, but better — it was absolutely fantastic. Usually, pickles kind of add a bit of tang, but for this burger was different. They were stealing the flavors since just by it self was so good. I got it with fries, those were ok, actually, I did not finish them. But the burger, the best I have had in years! Highly recommend this place!
Wilbo’s onion rings are a seasoned blend of shoe string and original onion rings. Something I’ve never had before and they are delicious! Coming from WI, we just voted on the top eight burger joints of the state. I’ve had burgers from two of the top contenders and Wilbo Burgers would right there in the mix. I’ve been here twice and Wilbo makes great burgers.
The food was absolutely wonderful, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff! I really appreciate the owner going above and beyond to set up an area for me to nurse my baby, who also wanted to eat. We will definitely be back!
Food was excellent! We had various types of burgers as well as fries and sweet potato sides. Everything was cooked to perfection! Server was fabulous! Will be back next time we are in the area.
I was out and about on my on-going quest to great eats !! LOL I asked a local ( always the best source ) for a recommendation for a hot dog place. She told me about Wilbo's on Main Street so I stopped in. My server told me that their burgers are award winners..so it was going to be a burger night !! They have a build you own burger kinda menu and you order exactly the way you like it. Mine arrived exactly as ordered and it was outstanding !! Definitely will be back for another. I suggest you just get a single patty, they are plenty thick and my second one kept wanting to slip out !! LOL
Plenty of seating, service was prompt, friendly and efficient. My brat was delicious and arrived after a very short wait.
The food was delicious, and the portions were large. This was our first visit, and we were NOT disappointed. More than one person checked on us to refill water etc. (It was a very hot day) I would definitely recommend them!!
My husband and I had burgers. Hand made, slightly crispy on the edges, juicy and delicious. Fried green pepper rings were hot, not greasy and delicious. They make their own ranch to dip them in and it’s yummy. Fries were hot and good. Mimi is a wonderful host. Our favorite place to sit by the windows (we call them a snug) were full but all other seating is comfortable. We had a blood Mary and it was delish. This is Cedar Falls’ best burger place. They have really good hot dogs, also.
